The Welly Zone

Our Welly Zone Volunteers monitor and record wildlife on their local beach by carrying out simple surveys that anyone can do. They act as our eyes and ears along the coast letting us know what wildlife is about and flagging up any problems it might face. Finds can range from jellyfish and mermaid’s purses washed up on the beach to live sightings of crabs and anemones in the shallows.
